snowboarding with a hangover...

The day before yesterday we went out for the first time. I can still feel it.. yesyes the Canadians party like rockstars.. not really my kind of partying. The bars and clubs close at two or three, thats why they start drinking as nuts at eleven to be completely drunk at two. ( just so u should know, Chris doesnt when he is driving). The other thing is that is not that common to have wine here.












Ask for one and they look at u like ure insane and they immediately know ure a tourist. They have shots and coctails here. and never the same one, they try this and that and this and that... Once but not twice i reckon.. But come to think of it, i wasnt that bad yesterday. Just dont want to much of those days, becauce i dont enjoy them the fullest. So ill have to start learning how to say no to the canadians and there shots. Now on to yesterday!! After a good coffee of Tim Burtons, we drove to Rabbit hill, for our snowboarding lesson. I was crap!!! i really was, i couldnt stand up straight, i was more on the ground than up, the teacher was really exhausted of pulling me up all the time, .... so i god a little bit incouraged. Surtenly because Chris said he was bad aswell, but in my eyes he was a pro because he could stay up. So after the lesson ( to be honest i was allready tired of it, could maybe have something to do with the fact my hangover was starting to appear) we could stay on the hill as long as we wanted. In the beginning i tried and tried and tried at the bottom of the hill. Than Chris said i had to go higher... Since im afried of hights, i wasnt so excited about that. But hey, why not, this is where tis trip is all about.. so we went up, and that was it! Since i had a longer time to practise, i managed to stay up after a time, and even go left and wright AND stop at the bottom without falling :-) So we went to the top of the hill, and that was amazing! Im definitely hooked now, and ready to go to the mountains this weekend!!
At four we were exhausted so we decided to quite. We stopped for fish and chip on the way home, and they were amazing! Never had that dough. Strange my first time is in Canada while we live half an hour away from England. And an other thing! Everyone celibrates Sint Patricksday here! They dont really know why, so i figure its just an excuse to get drunk. Excited to see it, because ive been told its a huge party.
