relaxingtime

We are getting lazy!! Because we made so many plans for the evening this week, we are not doing that much during the day... relaxing, playing pool, facebook, read, ahh and doing sit ups! At least something active.. on tuesday we went out to Bo'diddlies and Esmerelda. Was fun, accept the fact that Jill (friend of Chris) always uses me as an excuse to meet boys (hi, this is sarah, she's from belgium). So i am the pick up line :-)

On Wednesday we went to New Serepta, the town where Chris grew up. A little town with one school, bar, shop, restaurant, ... the image a lot of u had in mind probably when i said i was going to Canada. it was quite spooky actually... Surtenly because there was no one on the street, it looked abanded.

It is a town with a lot of crime, drugs and alcohol. People dont have anything to do and are bored. It is also difficult to get out of it. Chris told me that there are a lot of towns like that in Alberta (providence where Edmonton is the capital of). We had dinner there with his dad and stephmom. After dinner we went to the towns pub.. it was umhh verstand op nul :-). But hey, it was a new experience! The people were nice, i played pool with Chris his stephmother and they had a juxbox with the latest music. So it was fun, different but fun!

Than yesterday we went into town to do some shopping. I think Chris is quite suprised that i havent bought anything yet. But why should i, i have all my favorit clothes with me and i dont have any room left in my luggage. Besides like ive said before i left, im getting less materialistic, just want to spent my money on travelling now.

We also went to a little restaurant where we smoked some rasberry tabaco of a waterpipe. Since i still dont now how to inhale that wasnt really my thing. U get really relaxed of it (in other words tired) and since it was four in the afternoon...

In the evening we finally went to see the strippers. We were supposed to do that last week, but something came up. I know, quite bizar i get so excited about strippers :-) but in Belgium we would never think of doing that. hey girlsfriends lets go to the strippers tonight before we go to the Charlatan!!! uhhh nooo!:-) And here that is quite normal, the girls were even the loudest and most enthusiasm audience. It is not like i would do that every week, but it was nice to see it once (a lifetime). Felt quite ackward in the beginning, but since Jill and Megan were so normal about it, i got over it. Some of them were quite good actually, quite the acrobats.

Tonights it is Chris's sister birthdayparty, and tomorow night we have a pubcrawl (kroegentocht), and then we're done with partying for a while. Next week me and Chris are going for a little roadtrip, probably three days. So im excited about that!
