Mexico city

Time to see Soraya in mexico city!!! Ok umhh well after two hours standing 100metres next to each other we finnaly found each other. They gave the wrong information on the television, so i was waiting at gate 3 and she got out 2. So after some internetting and really a lot of luck we found each other. Then we waited another 5hours in the airport because Saul was gonna pick us up. Offcourse we had a lot to talk about, so that wasnt that bad.
Saul and his family were really nice, and they live in a huge house, so we had a fantastic week. The first two days we were in Acopulco. We stayed in a nice hotel, all inclusive. So after three weeks in hostels it was quite nice to have some luxury again. The first night we went to this amasing discotheque. We were quite intimidated, because we werent really used of that. It had a view over the whole city. The next day we went to a salsabar, where Saul learned us some salsa. Well he tried, if he wasnt busy fighting with his girlfriend ( really jealouse because we stayed at his plays for a week en because he wanted to learn us salsa).
Then Mexico city.. we went to the centre for one day. Saw the churches, monuments, buildings, ... Most of the stuff was closed but it was nice to see it on the outside. And because of the flue it wasnt really busy on the streets. I cant really tell u what we did day by day because i kinda forgot. In general we just slept in every day, because we stayed up till four every night watching movies, we chilled a lot, we tried to find stuff thats open, we had long long lunches, ... Yeah that was a thing we really got to get used to. We were soooooooo hungry at times because they eat so late! We didnt really see a lot of mexico city because everything was closed, but living in a mexican family we learned a lot about the country. Saul told us a lot about it and the mexican mentality(which he doesnt always likes) and we tried a lot of mexican food. Ok, i ate cactus, quesadillas with fungis, worms and pigskin.. The first two i really liked, the other two were mhmm just to try it :-) and i know im not supposed to eat pigskin, but it was just to try it. Just like i tried beef in a bag in Canada :-) (didnt swallow that dough, discusting!) ohh and the worms.. mhh that was difficult because i dont eat meat, i do eat fish, but where do i put worms?? :-)
Yesterday he invited some of his friend to have a barbecue. Well mexican barbecue, quite different. Its just a lot of beef, special unions, cactus and tortillas. Quite boring he if u compare it tro our barbecue. But we had a lot of fun. His friends were really nice. I was kinda afried when i heard one of them was a nazi... im open for everyone, but thats kinda an exception. But he was actually a really nice guy and we talked about it for a while, and yeah we didnt got into a fight, ill put it that way.
So today Soraya flew back to Canada, and me to Merida. Im taking a bus tomorow to playa del carmen to spend my last days there. For now it wont be a problem to get into Belgium, but ill just have to wait and see. Tomorow im gonna call Connections, if its possible to maybe get an earlier flight, but i doubt it..
